One year ago, I started running and taking my health more seriously. Since then, I’ve lost 60ish pounds. My time and pace for last year’s Max’s O’ was 33:04 and 10:39, respectively. I improved my time by 8:08 minutes and my pace by 3:32 minutes. I pushed real hard with this race and I was pretty satisfied with my performance. The race was the same as I remembered it from last year crowded but fun, with a really fun atmosphere. I got a large t-shirt this time but it’s downright hideous - tragic. 3/12 races for 2012 completed.
